Heisman Race

(Left to right : Chase Daniel (Missouri), Tim Tebow (Florida), Darren McFadden (Arkansas), Colt Brennen (Hawii), Todd Reesing(Kansas) )
Heading into this weeks action my Heisman race is down to five guys. For Tebow, McFadden and either Reesing this will be there last chance to inpress as neither of the three will not be playing for a conference title. Brennen and Daniel will be playing next week giving voters one last chance. Tebow and McFadden took this opertunity and had huge games.
My Rankings after this week.
1. Tim Tebow: Last week he became the first player in NCAA history to rush and throw for 20 TD's in one season. This week he had a huge game against Florida State. This week: 19-28 for 262 yards and 3 TD's, 16 rushs for 86 yards and 2 TD's.
2. Darren McFadden: Had a huge game against a great defence and lead his unranked Arkansas Razorbacks to a triple overtime upset over number 1 LSU. McFadden is a favorite to go first in this years NFL draft. This week: 32 rushs for 205 yards and 3 TD's, 3 for 6 for 34 yards and 1 TD.
3. Chase Daniel: Has had an all around great year leading Missouri on offense and is a great leader. This weeks victory over Kansas showed just how good he is. This week: 40 for 49 for 361 and 3 TD's
4. Colt Brennen: His and his teams downfall all year has been its weak scheduale, but thats not Colts fault. He has been putting up redickulus numbers and has lead the Warriors to an unbeaten season thus far. His performance this week was nothing short of special beating a Boise State team that most experts pick to beat them. This week: 40 of 53 for 495 with 5 TD's and 2 Int's, 9 rushs for 18 yards and a TD.
5. Todd Ressing: Was having a vary good season but this week against Missouri all but kills his chances for the Heisman, as well as his teams bid for the National Championship game. This week: 28 for 49 for 349 with 2 TD's and 2 Int's, 6 rushs for 1 yard and a TD.

"El Duque" Orlando Hernandez pitched out of a bases-loaded, none-out jam, and Paul Konerko hit a tiebreaking homer as Chicago beat Boston 5-3 Friday to sweep the defending World Series champs out of the playoffs and win a postseason series for the first time since Shoeless Joe Jackson's team won it all way back in 1917.
